What I couldn't live without....

On Saturday night I celebrated the holiday season with some of my very favorite things....
Delicious foods, best of friends, the diva, Annie Lennox, serenading the party, and more wine than we could have possibly enjoyed!  Lots of laughs, stories shared.... My how time flies when you truly are having fun...

So, time for another of my 'bests'...  Best girl-time chillaxing while chatting music... Annie Lennox!!!
From 'Walking on Broken Glass' to 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' and 'Little Bird'... you really just can't go wrong.  Former member of the Eurythmics and Born on December 25, it seems quite appropriate that we would be listening to her music at our girlie Christmas gift exchange...  I tend to love a huge variety of music, from Norah Jones, to Sublime... But for a night with an amazing group of girlfriends with whom you can appreciate the good times and an occasional dance session to break up the night.... Annie Lennox was perfect.

All in all, our Christmas Gift Exchange this year was one of the best yet.... Maybe it was the wine, maybe the group of girls, or maybe just the perfect mix of everything, including the superb classic hits from Annie... who knows... but I'm thankful for those nights with my girls....

For they are the nights I'll never remember with the girls I'll never forget! (cliche I know, but oh so true!)
